Information about the position

This position is part of our staffing services, meaning you will be employed by Sodajo Consulting and work as a consultant for our client.

As a Lighting Project Engineer, you will be involved in the entire project process – from concept and design to the final solution. You will work on the planning and design of lighting installations for roads, parks, tunnels, and other public environments. The role combines technical work with creative problem-solving, allowing you to use both your analytical skills and your interest in light and design to create sustainable and functional solutions.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the business area while working in projects together with customers and employees across the country.

Examples of tasks

In this role, you will work on the engineering and planning of lighting installations from early stages to the final solution. You will perform technical calculations, investigations, and visualizations, as well as produce drawings, luminaire lists, and other technical documentation. The work also includes preparing materials for bids and offers, as well as discussing technical solutions and project prerequisites with customers.

You will also contribute to the development of the company's working methods and processes, working towards creating efficient, sustainable, and customer-adapted solutions.

We are looking for someone who has

• A completed university degree in lighting, power systems, electrical engineering, construction, or another relevant field.
• A genuine interest in lighting solutions and technical systems, along with a desire to develop within the field.
• Experience with or understanding of CAD, lighting calculation software, or other technical engineering tools is an advantage.
• If you have not worked with these systems before, we look for strong technical interest and the ability to quickly adapt to new programs and working methods.
